TVBRIDGE
CH-01 OPEN DOCS
OPEN DOCS

The public archive of TVBridge. Every transmission ships with citations and reproducible references. This is the slow-format companion to the daily broadcast.

“Grep the archive. Read the originals.”

INTRO

CHANNEL GUIDE

The open docs channel is the archive of every transmission that has aired on TVBridge. Each entry includes the script, the citations, the source links and a short editorial note from the research desk.

Entries are tagged by channel, by topic and by date. The archive is searchable and grep-able. We encourage you to read the originals --- the broadcast is a starting point, not a destination.

RESEARCH TOPIC CATALOG

TOPICS WE COVER

PAIRING SNARK

Groth16

Pairing-based SNARK with constant-size proofs and per-circuit trusted setup. The original three-element proof. We cover the construction, the trusted setup ceremony hazards and the modern alternatives.

UNIVERSAL SETUP

PLONK and PLONKish

Universal updatable structured reference string. The arithmetization that gave us HyperPlonk, UltraPlonk, Plonky2 and the modern PLONKish family. Custom gates, lookups, and the prover bottlenecks.

TRANSPARENT

STARKs and FRI

Transparent, post-quantum friendly proofs built on FRI. No trusted setup, no toxic waste. Larger proofs but enormous prover throughput. The Starkware school and the FRI verifier complexity tradeoff.

RECURSIVE

Halo2

PLONKish backend with no trusted setup, custom gates, lookups and recursion via cycle of curves. The workhorse behind several modern zkEVMs. We cover the gadget library and recursion patterns.

INCREMENTAL

Folding schemes

Nova, SuperNova, HyperNova, ProtoStar. Folding turns long computations into a single recursive instance. The new prover hot path for IVC and zkVMs.

GENERAL PURPOSE

zkVMs

SP1, RISC0, Jolt and friends. General purpose RISC-V zero-knowledge virtual machines. Write Rust, prove execution. The fastest moving corner of the prover ecosystem.

LIGHT CLIENT

IBC

The Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol. Tendermint light clients, packet relay, channels and connections. The original validity bridge and still the security gold standard.

ORACLE + RELAYER

LayerZero

Configurable security stack with oracle and relayer separation. ULN, DVNs, executors. The most-deployed message passing layer in production today.

GUARDIAN SET

Wormhole

Multi-chain message passing secured by a permissioned guardian set. NTT, governance, cross-chain queries. We cover the incident history and the security model evolution.

PERMISSIONLESS

Hyperlane

Permissionless interop with modular interchain security modules. Bring your own validator set, bring your own routing. Sovereign by design.

SUBMISSION GUIDE

HOW TO SUBMIT A TOPIC

  1. Hold $TVB in a connected wallet. Topic submissions are gated to the broadcast room.
  2. Open a topic proposal in the open docs repository. Include the paper or repo link, a one-paragraph summary and your proposed channel.
  3. Holders vote on the next week's programming. Approved topics get scheduled into the TV guide.
  4. Anchor-chan reads the segment on air. The transmission is archived with full citations.
